Unexpected mobile phone contracts with Vodafone

Now that the iPhone 5 release is well and truly behind us here's an irreverent look at some of the more outlandish rumors that were circulating the web in the weeks leading up to the release of the new Apple smartphone.

Secret Message

"Network giant Vodafone has just added more incentive for consumers to grab its new mush have device, the iPhone 5. Insider sources say that thirty lucky iPhone users are rumored to be in for a treat, as the insider informs us that a special screensaver and a video message masquerading as an App, featuring the Apple’s late CEO Steve Jobs.

The content of the message is yet to be revealed, however, the insider says that the lucky mobile phone contracts users should find an application on the handset titled, "Are you feeling lucky?", which, when opened for the first time, activates the attached benefits.

Apple chief Tim Cook was unavailable for comment, but reports from multiple sources are confirming the speculation, but we are waiting for a consumer to report in with their findings. If you are one of the lucky winners of this extraordinary initiative by Apple, contact us immediately!"

We're still waiting for anyone to respond to that article. It might be a long wait...

Another office favorite mentioned a new app that could change ones fortunes.

Hidden App

"This is a simple app that works by predicting (100% accurate) lottery results for owners of mobile phone contracts. There's no more need for guessing or using family birthdays to help you out. You have never seen an iPhone app like this before, I will eat my sock whilst walking down the street singing 'Toon army' if you have.

All you have to do is take your iPhone 5 to the lottery kiosk in your local bargain store aka ASDA (will not work if you go dressed in Betty Boop jarmies and Simpsons slippers). Open the Lottery winner app and wave your phone around the lottery ticket shouting the words:

"Love me long time Camelot! Give it to me baby ah ha ah ha"

The app will create your lucky numbers including the bonus ball, fill out your lottery ticket using a red biro (please note it has to be a BIRO not an ASDA smart price). Pay for your ticket then tune in and watch your life change before your eyes. Ditch the 2 stripe "pretend" Addidas joggers and say hello to the real deal Addidas 3 stripe.

You are now Richie Rich from Minted Lane with a one way ticket to ‘Live Happily Ever After’ Ville and all thanks to mobile phone contracts with Vodafone."

It's nice to see that people were able to see the funnier side of all the hype and hyper extended hopes for a mobile telephone.

The iPhone 4S video camera is well known on Flickr

The iPhone 4 has proved to be the most common mobile phone on Flickr, however with only a month after the iPhone 4S was released, we've currently witnessed it develop into the 2nd most utilised phone for sharing images.

Flickr permits you to submit, share and manage your shots with many other Flickr folks and it is among the finest on line social photography applications globally.

Flickr can be a helpful tool in several ways, allowing you to view information on the most standard mobile phones used by Flickr customers to upload photographs.

Flickr automatically collects information around the several sorts of video cameras by detecting the image files metadata. This data is often changing and will be extremely helpful when finding out specifics on Flickr participants. We've been going over some of this information, and it shows us that in precisely more than a month from the iPhone 4S release, it has exceeded all other mobile mobile phone camera technique forms with the iPhone 4 in the font, the iPhone three and HTC Evo are the runners up.

The photographic camera on the iPhone 4S was perfected to a mega 8 mps, the lower-light level of responsiveness has leaped to 73 % combined with an enhancement with the image sensor and processor chip on the video camera. The fact that you may download the Flickr app tends to make photograph uploading and sharing an extremely painless knowledge and it came to no big surprise to us that the iPhone 4S is one of the most widespread photographic cameras on Flickr.

The digicam in the iPhone 4S is at the moment in the lead of worldwide popularity with Flickr subscribers, overtaking the old fashioned cameras such as the Nikon , along with the Canon EOS 5D and later models. These cellphone video cameras are getting rid of call for old school photographic cameras, driving them to be pointless. Just about any professional photographer will tell you the best possible high-end camera you can own would be the one you might have on you, and taking into account we carry our cell phones on us continually, the large majority of photos essentially come straight from your cellphones, waiting to end up being added to Flickr.

Why should you buy an iPhone 4S?

With the iPhone 4S due to hit the shelves very shortly, there is no better time or reason to upgrade your phone.  Apple, as always has kept very tight lipped on the new features we can expect to see on the iPhone 4S and as to be expected there are many rumours and speculations making their way around the web.  We will be looking into these rumours, what we expect to see on the up and coming smartphone and why we think you should buy an iPhone 4S.

Mobile phone technology has evolved rapidly over the last year with competing devices featuring NFC technology for mobile payments, 4G connectivity, much higher resolution cameras and faster and more powerful processors.  With Google Android, Apples main competitor, continuing to capture the market share with its pioneering Droid phones, we can expect the iPhone 4S to include these exciting features in its newest smartphone and much, much more.

With the recent anniversary of the iPhone 4 and the impending launch period of the iPhone 4S, rumours about the smartphone just keep getting louder and louder and the excitement for the device grows stronger as we approach the imminent launch of this next generation phone.

There are many reasons that we can think of as to why you should buy an iPhone 4S and what we can expect to see from the iPhone 4S is that it will be fully equipped with amazing new features including a dual core processor, a much more sleeker and slimmer body design, face recognition security, a more robust screen and body and prolonged battery life.  We can’t wait to get our hands on the new iPhone and we’ve highlighted below some of the exciting features that we are looking forward to.

Video chat available at any time - One of the rumours floating around is that the iPhone 4S will have video chat from anywhere.  This will be a huge benefit to iPhone users considering that the current model only allows FaceTime to be used over WIFI connections, which basically limits the use of video chat to the home.  With the 4G network on the iPhone 4S, video chat will be able to be accessed from anywhere, at any time!

Face recognition security – We’ve heard of numerous reports concerning Apple and the likely purchase of a specialist facial recognition technological firm in Sweden.  This firm also specialises in similar facial recognition applications that are able to recognise users based on their facial features.  We believe that the next generation iPhone will be using these facial recognition applications as an added security feature, making the phone much more secure.  So if any of you are taking into consideration security issues when you buy iPhone 4S, this will be a fantastic security feature that will ensure your data will be safe, should it get into the wrong hands.

Dual core Processor – With competing smartphones currently featuring more processing power than the iPhone 4, rumours say that we can expect the iPhone 4S to have a dual-core 1GHz A5 processor.  This is highly likely considering that Apple already have a dual core processor in the iPad 2.  This will allow for improved graphics meaning that app developers will be able to produce much more dynamic and CPU-intensive games as well as better delivery of photography and high res videos.

Extended battery life – As we all know, the battery life for the current iPhone 4 does not last very long and this alone has put some people off when they are considering whether or not to buy an iPhone 4S.  This is a highly demanded feature and it is said that this will improve to about 14hrs of talk time on 3G and 7hrs of talk time on 4G, giving a standby of 600hrs which is double the standby time of the iPhone 4.

Larger storage space – Many people complain that the storage space on the current 32GB iPhone 4 does not have enough space to store all of the things that they want to.  With 2009 being the last time that Apple increased the capacity of the iPhones storage space, we’re expecting to see a bigger volume of space in the iPhone 4S, possibly a 64GB version considering the iPod touch already has this size.

3D graphics – We assume that the iPhone 4S will feature much better 3D graphics considering that the iPad 2 already has PowerVR SGX543MP – fingers crossed this will be carried across to the new iPhone.

Body design and screen improvements – A lot of people are speculating that the new iPhone will have a much sleeker body design, we are hoping that it will be much slimmer like the iPod, but we’ll have to wait and see on this one.  It is also possible that we will see a much larger screen as many of the other competitors such as the HTC already feature a larger screen.  Although current iPhone fans may not want an increase in screen size so instead of a larger screen we may see an edge-to-edge screen configuration improvement.  This will most probably be one of the biggest decision-makers when deciding whether to buy an iPhone 4S due to aesthetic looks being really important to most people.

Cloud-computing support – This is a highly demanded feature so we are fairly certain that we will see a much better file-syncing service on the new iPhone.

There are many other features that could also be included in the iPhone 4S that are being talked about by tech-geeks including voice recognition and fully customisable home screens with the new iOS 5. The next question you need to ask is how can I buy an iPhone 4S? There will be a lot of help around the web that will help you with this and once the iPhone 4S is released it will be a lot easier for you to make your decision.

Feel free to drop us a comment below and let us know what features you are looking forward to seeing on the new iPhone and if you are going to buy an iPhone 4S, let us know why!
